What this is about Thread - Video Game Art Realm

VGAR has been around a wile and intrest is begining to fall a bit, and with vgar being so big with so many groups it is hard to keep intrest in them all and update them all so thats why i have came up the idea of the VGAR Calendar.

The Calendar will be designed and placed here in the fourm, with holidays being on certan dates to celebrate each group annually starting hopfuly in 2011. e.g the 22 of march could be first generation gaming day (this is not really what it would be). on these days videos and updates can be posted in bulk and the fourms of the other groups be used for once.

I am thinking as there is 7 gens we could have a week of the gens mabye coming up to christmas, a westwood one could be on the day a c&c game came out etc.

This is only an idea but i really think it is a good one and would spark intrest in the vgar groups as well as vgar its self.
comment on what you think and we can take the idea further.

i do like the idea but have my doubts if the audience is big and willing enough for it to work. Well we simply have to do it and see how it turns out. i'm in. 7th of may was the day vgar was born. the date is coming closer and i already had a party in mind. y'all know what vgar party means

but im wondering if there is any calinder making software which can be used to make one for 2011, we can talk on msn and come up with a list of dates we should have as national VGAR holidays and have a full 2011

also the youtube thing is coming along nicely, equipment to film video games will be here tomoro and then the fun can start.... well sorta... i need to finish my course work and get my ICT exam in jan but then i will be able to work. connor could work any time as he is only doing one course unlike me who is doing 4, but he is lazy and i wont be able to get him to start himself.
