The way Celestias arm just dissapears behind her hair looks really strange.
It is perspectivly correct though~
Luna's mane goes over the arm and the neck, so both are streamlined into one edge.
I know, it still looks kind of strange to me.
Luna's mane is dimensional storage. Inside it contains an entire universal storage room.
Why is luna's tail gone?
Check between their legs/bellies, Luna's tail is folded around her and behind them both.
