Looks like it's a Rebel analog of the LAAT/I. What do you guys thing about it?
Y-Wing + X-Wing = U-Wing
I would prefer the MAAT if the rebels are going to get something similar to the LAAT's. But its an interesting concept and INCOM ship designs are my third favorite ship designs Sienar's is my favorite with the Sith ship designs being second.
MAAT would've been better if you ask me so I concur. Gives a callback to the clone wars era in it's nostalgic design to a LAAT. Come to think of it I do wonder since the rebels take what they can get their hands on why they don't just use old clone wars era tech from time to time. Of course, they'd try to use more advanced stuff like X-wings and Y-Wings, but that doesn't change the fact not every rebel cell will be able to operate with such equipment. Using older stuff that's surplus/still around should be more prevalent when seeing them in the films/comics the like. I'd expect such from the ragtag.
Well in legends they DO use a lot of CW stuff. But I guess using those will mean they can't sell new toys to us.
ya pretty much, its all about money any more and not about the story actually and little realism. Cause lets face it most insurgencies use either knock off of modern equipment or last generation technology so if that's the case on Earth why wouldnt that occur in the star wars universe, oh well **** it you cant make money off **** you already sold to us.
