This is a group that was created for anyone who loves Star Wars, may it be the books, games, films and modding. This is the place for you to enjoy star wars!
And for what? 1 Tv show? Expanded Universe is not just 1 TV show, its comics, novels, video games, and Tv shows working to tell one big story. Tales of the Jedi alone is older than the target audience for TCW! (sorry adult TCW fans but yes it is a kid's show hence being on cartoonetwork.)
Its this generation of star wars fans that's ruining the franchise. Its downright disrespectful is what it is. As long as you people keep feeding them your viewership and your money, they will continue to do stuff like this. TCW shows absolutely no respect for it's predecessors.
You can continue to glorify what their doing at Lucasfilm Animation if you wish but some day, you will see a Star Wars that barely resembles what our parent's generation created, what my generation built upon, and what the TCW generation destroyed.
May the force be with the modders that are trying to build KOTOR related mods. They are our only hope...
I'll lose hope if BioWare changes Korriban to Moriban.
They won't. They might add Moriband as a location, but, as far as I know, Moriband should be somewhere in the Deep Core, just like Tython. That's way too far from the Sith space.
I don't think so. The reason they changed the name is so that they won't be hindered by EU material. Quite frankly I think the KOTOR-TOR era is safe from the reboot because SWTOR is making money so it won't be cancelled any time soon.
When Tython appeared as the cradle of the Jedi Order, Coruscant, Yavin IV, Dantooine, Ossus, and all other Jedi-affiliated planets survived. And still live. When Mortis was shown, canon and the Force didn't magically disappeared.
Besides, we still don't know how the story goes for Moriband (or Moraband?). It is not necessary that it'll cotradict everything before it or that it can't be retconed.
Only time will show.
I just watched the sixth season of TCW, and it seems Moraband is just an alternate name for Korriban, like the name Pesegam. The planet appears to be the same in the show (other then the claim it's abandoned, I could've sworn there was still some colonies there).
Still an odd thing Lucas decided to do, but this should be the norm with TCW. The future may still be "clouded by the darkside" and will probably continue going downhill, but in this particular case you can all cool off for a minute, lol.
Oh quit your whining
