Anyone else feels they should have that green paint scheme from the classic games?

Might be a customization option

I do wonder if they'll allow everyone to do their own Legion colors for each trooper. I mean, lorewise having troopers from the 501st, 212th, 41st all in the same battle is gonna look pretty weird.

That said, anyone else worried they're not including droidekas thus far? I didn't see them in the trailer or gameplay footage. Instead they used B1's carrying heavy repeaters to fill that fire support role, which I gotta say has me worried.

They've been quite hush-hush about droidekas. A dev did say at one of the livestreams that special units (he used the example of a wookiee warrior on Kashyyyk) will be specific to each map as special classes you unlock with points (like the jumptrooper and B2 are in the Theed pre-alpha). Honestly, I wouldn't worry at all about driodekas, I think it's a granted they're in.

What concerns me is stuff like cross-era weapons (confirmed by devs as not part of standard loadouts but possible as customization), also cross-faction weapons (B1s running around with CR-2 blasters? Seriously?) and simply weapons not having the correct laser colour. I think it's fine the minigun being available to both the clone heavy and droid heavy, but is blue and red lasers respectively too much to ask? It kinda reminds me of how the classic Battlefront had correct laser colours, then Battlefront 2 came along and started going crazy. Same thing is happening again.

A certain, limited degree of character customization is also confirmed by devs. I just wish for the clones this means each map has its own legion colours, but you're allowed customization over slight pattern variations and maybe a couple attachments.

But honestly, what we really need is some form of "movie accuracy" option for matches; so that we can set up games with cross-era weapons and different legion colours, as well as strictly canon content for when we feel like it.

They have costumization in Battlefield 1 too, so I hope we will have vehicle skins and everything you said above. Rey on Kashyyyk would kill the atmosphere (It would be okay, if it was in a battle between the First Order and the Rebells), but cross-era hero battles would be fun too. And I wouldn't have a problem with having Jyn Erso on Yavin IV, or Lando in the Death Star, as long as they stay in there f*cking Era.
