Do something that you can play big battle (I mean removing the limit of units on the map)

you can easily remove them youself we are probably only rising it higher.
Ps. If you need a tutorial how to remove the limits ask me (i'm doing it with every mod)

That can be easily a double edge sword, the limit in place should give enough room for acceptable sized battles, but not so much that others cannot play it.

Though I always wondered if it was ever possible to create a slider allowing the user to change the set ship limit.

Also space battles tend to get extremely unorganized the more units you add to them, and become even more difficult to control your armies.. land battles are different stories as they can easily spread across multiple large areas allowing good use of the extra troops.

Also in space battles you suffer with ship clipping, fighters doing the funky tuna, and etc making unit counts more important and more practical to keep optimal efficiency from your fleet.

Now that's just a observation of course, a general observation.

Now i don't know what mikofski is going to do with it but he'll mostlikely leave the cap to playable size if he'll change anything. Now I haven't seen any funky tuna buisness in space battles. And if you can't control a big army then you can't I myself perfer to play that way and so it shall be for me.

The funky tuna is a description of the dance a fish would do when out of water, and flopping left and right desperately to get back into water.

It usually happens with fighters and can almost seem like dancing, seen it in vanilla EAW and in many mods. Of course the more fighters and bombers you have the more likely they start to get trapped and start dancing..

I understand both sides of this, I think we all can say we want the largest battles possible but we still have to keep in mind people other then ourselves, who meet EaW's requirements but might not be able to keep a solid framerate in battles that grow too large.

I guess that could be built into the skirmish maps like,
Space - A - 50
Space - A - 100
Space - A - 200
Space - A - Infinite

Or the slider idea, but I have no idea if any of that is possible, alus I have no ideas the limitations modders have, so I have to shut up and let the professionals talk.

Sorry for my broken english, in the last few days Ive had less then 2 hours sleep, coffee keeps me sane but... perhaps sleep would be wise....
