One day a Hitler Youth is pope, then a few weeks later some socialist wanders into the papacy who wont even put the fancy red shoes on.
Disagree with or hate Pope Benedict XVI (it matters not to be as I'm not Catholic), it's not fair to label him as a "Hitler Youth" as this was mandatory of all youth in Germany and it didn't reflect his real views.
Either way he was a generic **** of a priest who protected rapists and held to every last bit of archaic nonsense the church has pushed since forever.
What archaic nonsense?
Apart from the condom stuff nearly everything else he said was in accordance with the teachings of The Bible. The way he went about things however were not.
I'm only aware of the pedophilia scandal.
Other than that he was hardly the worst Pope in history. But neither of us are Catholics. It shouldn't matter to us what they say is their "official stance" or doctrine.
Wow after this video I really feel like this guy seems too good to not be an enemy. Remember how Hitler did so many good things for Germany before he became an all out monster? He rebuilt Germany's economy before WWII. People likely considered him a good guy. Napoleon also did a LOT of good things for France. Throughout history we see figures that appear good at the beginning but eventually become horrible people.
Likewise I think Francis's true intentions yet remain to be revealed. He also really fits the descriptions of the antichrist. Remember that satan CAN do good things but his ultimate goal is not good.

I recommend watching them and perhaps debate me on whether Francis is the antichrist or not.

Perhaps remember that calling someone the Antichrist is judging. Francis may very well go on to become a bastard but when he retires/dies (proving without a doubt he's just a regular human) the claims made against him will once again be shown to be false (as they have with all the alleged Antichrists throughout history).
Just remember:
Jesus doesn't know the time or the hour of the end. Only God knows according to Jesus. This means we will never discover who the real Antichrist is (and it doesn't help when everyone is being named the Antichrist confusing Doomsayer's as to who the real Antichrist is). For if we did discover then we'd know the time and Christ said we will never know.
Excellent point and I might be slightly pessimistic as I don't really look at the good in people very often preferring to be skeptical than surprised when they do become horrible.
