Ive noted two kinds of reports for Aleppo.
Some calling it a fall, some a liberation.
Whatever the case, the rebel groups in the city have been defeated. Government forces along with their allies are now mopping up what traces remain of insurgent presence.
The question is, how do you view the battle for aleppo and Syria? Do you see it as a civil war between extremism and secularism? Proxy forces between the east and west both being heralded by either sides media bias? Perhaps the real question should be, how will the Syrian people recover when all is said and done?
Some material to go over.
As you read, please take note of the clear and evident differences in how the story is reported. You'll see why it's difficult to discern truth from this mess of which side would be preferable to come out on top in this conflict.
