Secularism is a good thing, people in the US scream and moan about it saying it bad- but thats cuz they are quite literally stuipid and honestly believe a theocracy is the way to go. and have no understanding that the US constitution sets up its governemnt as a secular state anyways.
seculare reasoning and priciples are what have taken us forward into the modern era and historically all attempts to stop secularism have put humanity back drastically.
those who are seriously apposed to secularism are either uneducated or radicals and extremist who wish to force there way of life and religious valuesonto others regardless of if it is wanted (examples islamic terrorists, & the catholic church as a religious movements & Rick Santorum as a political example)

I remember a certain pastor who used to use 'secular' and 'immoral' interchangably. I don't think he even knew what it meant, but yet he thought he was fighting it. Secularism has typically proven to protect religious institutions from interferance, rather than damage them. I think that not forcing religious values on everyone is only reasonable, it's not even limiting religous rights. What's with all the paranoia?

It basically comes down to:
Vote yes to live in North America or Europe.
Vote no to live in Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, or North Korea.

My school prob 80% are atheist and no one complains about prayer before school assembly. A moment of silence or personal concentration hurts nothing and no one. And because it implies it is givinng a groups' gain it should be cut out??? "PTTFFT sheesh man. That is is utter garbage.

Its pretty immature to assume everyone is your religion and change things so it fits it. You basically saying that keeping the Government from religion is childish?

And there is a difference between a moment of silence and a prayer.

In a moment of silence you can pray silently and other can do their way to remember someone/something silently. A moment of silence allows you to find peace in your mind.
