I'm Zainiax, young kiddo studying to be a code monkey
I'm usually pretty active in forums, but my studies started last month and I'm kinda busy at the moment, so I hope I can be more active in future (Now I got small chance so I decided to come here while I am at my school computer. Maybe in future I'm going to write all my posts from here )

Whats up people? Totally new DF player here, loving the game and not sure how it evaded my glare for so long.

I think I'm past the 'noob' stage. Are there any good intermediate guides around?

Welcome, Gribbstar! Glad you made your way to our humble little corner of the Internet.

The best guide there is would be the Wiki. I used it religiously until I got competent enough to just play, and I still refer to it once in a while. If the Wiki doesn't do it, the Bay 12 forums are great for asking questions. Lastly, there IS a guide you can buy called Getting Started with Dwarf Fortress; there's a news article about it linked to the Desura DF page, as well as our group page, should you be interested!
