Awesome shooting range - I love the mod, Halloween4. Give us a demo please, if you can manage.
Sorry but I won't be releasing this mod until it's complete as I want the players to have the full expieriance & not just play small sections at a time as I think that this can spoil the atmosphere of the story.
However, I will continue to post news updates & more in depth progress reports to my features section.

Makes sense! I actually didn't think about coherence when I asked for a demo, I just wanted to get some aiming and shooting practice.
Sorry I thought you were talking about a game Demo, not a Firing Range Demo, but that being said, what I said above still stands as the Firing Range is all part of a story driven level, & anyway who dosen't know how to aim & shoot a gun in a game in this day & age, I somehow get the sence that you are just trying to get me to to realease something before im ready...lol

Infact my mod has more detail in it than the original game but when Max Payne come out in 2001 PC's were less powerfull so this type of detail would have slowed the engine but with the power of todays PC's this dosen't matter so much.
Looks really good man, especially considering the engine it's on. Keep up the good work, looking forward to playing it.
I do have to say though the camera shown in that video can be a pain in small areas, turn a corner *Bam eaten by a zombie you could not see due to camera* then the flashbacks of a few moments of the old RE games... lol :P
I see what your saying about the camera but personaly speaking as one that has obviously played through the level's that I've made so far, I have to say that this type of claustrophobic close camera just adds to the tention of the mod, as everything just seems so in your face, & Zombies can ( as you say ), be on top of you before you have even had time to acknowledge them, & this often has the affect of making you jump, which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. So much so infact that in this mod I have lowered the ceilings down slightly more in some key areas when compaired to the original game, just to build the tension even more.
is this going to release this year or next year?
