The guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109) transits north in the Suez Canal as part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group.

The USS Jason Dunham is named after Corporal Jason L. Dunham of the United States Marine Corps, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for service in Iraq, where he threw himself onto a insurgent's grenade in order to save his fellow marines.
