The first and foremost items that we've changed in Shattered Lands is the structure of the Game. With 4 factions you may control many different types of vehicles and soldiers. We have formulated this to the degree where players will not find themsevles fighting Leopard's against T-90's because all their other tanks are too weak. You will still see heavy MBT's but it will be hard to accauire them, and you will most likely only see light tanks, medium tanks, APC's, IFV's and so on.

the ArmA engine isnt even that realistic. Arma 2 praised to be the most realistic ever, and the tank armor is actually less sophisticated than the GEM engines
So, then, about new tank combat: will Active Protection Systems and Explosive Reactive Armour like ARENA and Kontakt-5 be modeled?
