This group is for all the musicians at ModDB. I place to show off their work and to discuss music. You could also ask for help for a song or give suggestions to one another. If you are requesting help for a mod or game, PM me and I can relay the message on the news/blog. This way people don't get mass e-mailed :). I don't know what else to say so have fun!
A possible new rule for PMing about music/composing for mods.

Ok guys/gals, alot of people have been telling me that they don't like getting the group PMs asking for music/composing work, so I've decided for people who want music or sound or whatever to PM me myself and then I can inform people through this news/blog thing or whatever.
If anyone has a better suggestion I'll be glad to hear it. I don't know how else to moderate it so I'm open to suggestions.
Comment with your ideas and suggestions :)
PS. The picture here is unrelated, just needed something to fill the gap :D

...or we could have a forum for this group with dedicated boards for both offered and wanted jobs :p
I don't know how many of those in need of composers would actually find it, though.
The current idea doesn't sound too bad either - as long as you have energy and will to do it. I mean, that sounds like an awful lot of work, depending on the amount of available work, of course.
I thought of that too, but yeah.. thats the problem. haha. I don't want to get people into forum hunting and stuff like that. Unless any of guys think its a good idea... I'm totally fine with anything :)
maybe like a front page link to that? a great advantage of the group is hooking developers up with composers... so a way to keep that without annoying everyone else?
And now there's that "jobs!" thing too...
I think the news blog thing is the best solution.
As an off-topic suggestion, I'd like to see a post where everyone parlays their success stories in finding the best bs and royalty free samples. Everytime I think I find something good there's a catch.
