I strangely do not see this working to well. Plus it would slow the bullet alot.

both Germans and Americans planned guns which could shoot behind corners like this StG here. Germans made plans for MP40 and Americans planned modifications for M3A1 Grease Gun to shoot behind corners. Thus, when the MP40 version of "cornershot" was tested, it could only handle couple of dozen bullets until it broke
