The title explains it all but this group is a fan group for the Video Games Mass Effect 1 (ME1), Mass Effect 2 (ME2), and Mass Effect 3 (ME3). This is the place to post images, videos and news about the Mass Effect Universe, comics and games.
Mass Effect: Genesis is the 'Interactive Backstory Comic' included in the Playstation 3 release of Mass Effect 2. It was produced by Dark Horse Comics, who also published Mass Effect: Redemption and the upcoming Mass Effect: Evolution.
As Mass Effect was never released on the Playstation 3, and, due to its being published by Microsoft Game Studios, likely never will be, the interactive comic introduces new players to the story of the original game while allowing them to make six of the major plot decisions that Xbox and PC players could make in the original game. The comic is accessible between the opening scene and character customization.
These choices include:
-Urdnot Wrex's fate on Virmire
-Which human squadmate is sacrificed on Virmire.
-Which character became Shepard's love interest.
Notably, the mission on Feros is omitted entirely from the comic.
