revan seeked to save the republic a patriot more than a sith he took the role of "darth" out of nesecity rather than falling to the darkside he was a patriot to the republic never attacking innocents unlike malak. always attacking millitary installations in the end these attacks would strengthen the republic having to defend from constant attack they would learn survival and eventually power the freedom from reallying on the jedi this was to strengthen them from the attack of those who the jedi thought of as the "unseen threat" in the end revan sought 1 goal defeat if the republic could defend from his onslaught they would be forever strengthened this was his goal light or dark it did not matter to him
Revan, renowned as "The Revanchist" and dreaded as Darth Revan, was an eminent Jedi Knight turned conquering Dark Lord of the Sith until, stripped of his true persona, he returned to the crumbling Jedi Order and helped defeat the Sith Empire he had established.
