this is a group, (like the tank and aircraft lovers) is dedicated to the IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) like the BMP-2 the M2A2 bradly and so on and so forth, from made up to real life, and anything in between. from treads to wheels to hover, this is for all you people who enjoy those rumbling rolling armored vehicles, that when on the target drop their ramps to emit a large group of infantry. Wasn't that originally a IFV? I mean that's a variant of IFV?

It's a completely new hull on a modified bmp/bmd suspension. You can see the bmd 4 in the left side. The bmd 4 can carry 5 guys and 3 crew. Since it's a airborne vehicle, it can be easily paradroped, the sprut aswell iirc. Armed with 100mm main gun, 30mm coaxial, 2 lmgs and 1 40mm nade launcher, packs a lot of punch for it's size and purpose. The bmd4 is the most heavily armed vehicle in the world in it's class actualy.

This would be considered an Tank-Hunter, AFV or self propelled gun.

guys, light armored things with big guns aren't actually "tank hunters", they have no superiority in any aspect to a real tank, except light weight and paper armor

It's fast, light, small, can do hit and run, its main gun is more than enough to do serious damage to any tank. All modern tank hunters are light, in some ocasions even wheeled. It's all about the surprise factor.

The modern concept of a tank-hunter in my experience is an improvement on the concept of an ARV (Armored Recon. Vehicle). The speed allows it to find the enemy as quickly as possible, so the rest of the formation has more complete information about their enemy, and so they have less of a chance of being engaged decisively, since they can break contact.

The powerful weaponry makes up for what ARVs lack, meaning that they can attrit the enemy before the main fight, even if that enemy has MBTs, and defend themselves if the enemies' fires prevent movement

Description

Arguably the best tank destroyer :P

Fully Amphibious 125mm of anti armor rape. Armor can bounce 25mm rnds from as close as 500m.

Not sure if it's a tank or a armored vehicle. It looks like a tank, it packs as much firepower as a tank, but it's not a tank.
