Wouldn't it be awesome if Bethesda decided to remaster the first 2 (And throw Tactics in there too). You know, just make them compatible with current OS, in HD, with an improved interface and some small improvements. I'd like to play them again but they give too much trouble on modern machines.

That depends what kinda improvements we're talking about.

Look how they butchered roleplay for 4, go on a site like No Mutants Allowed fans are still complainin about how 3 was such a travesty compared to the original series. And 4, to them 4 is like the anti-fallout. The ultimate, unforgivable sin of Bethesda.

Better off trusting it too Obsidian. That's IF they'd actually go for it...

I do miss this playstyle for fallout in general, would love to see a remastered Fallout 2 and that drop dead BEAUTIFUL Advanced Power Armor Mk. II again in it's first appearance.

I still got 492 years left to serve in the Enclave.
Before Ive paid for that missing APA MK II...

I agree with the Obsidian idea, they have a good touch for classic style RPGs and they have some of the people that created the original games.
With small improvements, I meant things like a weapon modification system (Nothing as fancy as F4, just basic stuff) and other features that modern gamers are used to, without changing anything big like the dialogue or roleplay elements.
I'm a Fallout veteran and I love F3 and specially NV. I like F4 a lot, even though it lacks in some aspects. I get why some of the veterans might dislike the change in genre, but it's pointless to get stuck in the past and ignore great games just because they changed the way they're played.

That I would not be opposed too.

I just, really have a hard time trusting Bethesda after 4.
It's basically minecraft with fps elements, and laser guns.
