My goodness, according to NBC News, everything is burning! Apparently, its not just NSW, but the entire country! Even the desert regions!
An explainable mistake, but an example of Journalism lacking research, and when it comes to reporting on what's going on in other nations, it's ten times as embarrassing.
Australia posts storm incoming...
And then... The Fire Nation attacked.

So Indonesia is actually the fire nation??? Also wait that's not even where Indonesia is located! D:
According to these inaccurate chart I should be burning by a fire that's being overlapped by another fire.

It's about time the Ausies are learning that their spiders need to be killed with fire!
Oh no, we've learned that a LONG time ago (even the aboriginals were doing it). This time we just REALLY needed a HUGE purge.
But really, this is not the case. It's only in the Eastern states. And it may be turning out worse than Black Saturday. I haven't seen an aerial view of it so I can't be sure how big it is, but reports are everywhere.
Also, the Australian Capital Territory (where Canberra is) has legalised gay marriage! Yay for equality! And now the Federal government wants to challenge that move with a very expensive trial that will take the law to the High Court. And the debt our new government promised to completely fix during its election campaign? NOPE. The debt has been raised from $234 billion to $500 billion. HELLO NEW AMERICA! EXCEPT WITHOUT UNLICENSED GUNS.
Oh, you don't even want to look at the new Bikie legislation being passed then...
so, it's illegal to hang out wearing club jackets (not just bikie clubs, any club accused of illegal activiy... it's legitimately possible for people to get fined if they're hardcore football fans and their club comes under investigation :/); but there's nothing wrong with accumulating a collection of firearms for "group recreation" purposes?
I get that some people are in gun clubs and do things like skeet shooting, but you're supposed to bring your own guns for that... firearms stored at the club house were supposed to be individually locked up, but now they can be "pooled" under a club license.
don't even joke about the guns mate, we can only hope that if we focus on the fires and gay marriage that the politicians will forget about relaxing gun laws
