The Turkish government was overthrown? If this is true then I'm not quite sure how to feel. If the region is destabilised it will increase global tension even further but on the other hand the Turkish government was considerably tyrannical, as far as I in my ignorance understand that is.
Why yes, it is NATO, it's all NATO. They've come to shove western mediocrity, moral myopia, and puerile values down the Turks throats for imperialistic funnzies and all of that other conspiracy crap that those yellow journalists carp on about.
Well, he's going full Sultana Banana, and given the incredible lack of disorganization behind the coup, I don't think this was foreign backed.
I should tack a joke to the end of this so as to stay relevant:
A man suffers from chronically bad odors, and although he has searched extensively he is unable to find a cure. At wits end, and being a Catholic, he heads to his local parish where, out of desperation, he falls to his knees in front of the crucifix. With eyes shut tight he pleads with great fervor that the Lord Almighty will remove this foul stench from his body.
After a few moments praying like this, the man hears a heavy clang like that of metal hitting the wooden floor. Opening his eyes, he sees a long steal nail lying on the floor. Out of bewilderment he looks up at the crucifix... which is now clutching its nose with its right hand.
1-Coup attempt was failed and will probably be used by governmet for a long time to keep their support
2-Too many people died for nothing
3-Both people and army became ******* and throttled themselves in the middle of the chaos
4-Erdoğan is still at the wheel, and he'll become much worse than he was before this attempt.
I don't know if that's your real thoughs, but it's neither funny nor good. Coup has never been a right way to get rid of an idiot, it's just another way to put a military dictator on the throne.
Well, the initial reaction was kind of overly enthusiastic.
I by now believe this whole thing was actually a set up by Erdogan to get rid of his enemies and have an excuse for all kinds of ********. A list of 3.000 judges doesn't compile itself over night. And the coup itself was just way too poorly executed to have been a real full-fledged attempt.
Still, had it been a real attempt I would have been happy to see it succeed.
Please ignore the spelling mistake. I didn't make this.

Well, there have been contradicting news so far, but it seems the coup is failing as I write this.
There have been contradicting reports. I guess we'll have to wait for the dust to settle, thing like this tend to be a bit chaotic.
But if Erdogan is gone, that's a good thing for sure.
Just gotta hope it doesn't turn into another civil war.
And Erdogan has to go down. If he wins, he will only get even worse...
Problem here, he won and I fear it'll get much worse for us
It seems the Generals where stopped.
Seems they waited too long, too many AKP sympasiants in strong Positions.
That moment when the humor group gets ahead of your news feed in the morning....
Fingers crossed this isn't NATO.

Na wasnt the NATO was BND "im Auftrag von Merkel"
(starting conspiracy theory)

Every. 20. Years.
Am I the only one who is NOT happy to see ANOTHER powerful nation in the region being destabilize?
I mean sure the Edrogan is an a**hole but he is still a democraticly eleceted leader. (Not counting the alleged rigging)
