As a follower of one of the Abrahamic religions I can sympathize with those who get triggered at idiots/traitors giving their faith a bad name. But seriously, I just really think the Old Testament way of handling things isn't the way God wanted things to go, hence the New Testament. It's a shame Islam rejected it.

Also so far this image has done nothing but generate outrage in the comments (with maybe one exception), so I'm leaning towards the opinion that "this isn't really funny at all".

Also Islam didn't necessarily rejected the New Testament, after all Jesus is prophet in their religion. The problem with contemporary Islam is that they didn't go through that phase in which religion was detached from secular life. Also a lot of bad stuff associated with Islam are actually local/regional tribal BS but since said tribal leaders are also religious leaders they use religion to further justify their BS.

P.S. This isn't the place to discuss the finer points of various religions.

Stupid!? Why my good sir, we're human. There isn't stupid, but there is ignorant, it's curable tho! It's just, not everyone wants to be cured. Much to their neighbors amusement/frustration.

It's one thing to mention the Christ, it's entirely another to adopt the doctrine of His Church, which Islam failed miserably in doing.

This is gone way beyond mere ignorance. By this point in time people really should have at least a minimal sense of skepticism when it comes to whether or now the latest outrageous news is real or fake. To be otherwise is either stupid or lazy (or both).

For crying out loud fake news has been a thing for decades? by this point any yet people (including and especially those who style themselves as too smart for that) still fall for them each and every time!

Most people don't fall for it each and every time. I think biases determine what they'll believe more so with ease than other things.

It took people a while to call out CNN and realize damn near everything they say has a political spin or is fake news (well over two decades here in America). And likewise, it takes people a while to realize not every story about Islam is gonna be on the button accurate since there's a growing vehement hatred of them in the western world given all the terrorist attacks, cultural subversion, and racial tensions (all of which took off in the last 5 years since the rise of ISIS and refugee crisis in the mideast.) Fake news about them for stirring up outrage and disbelief isn't a need since they often write it themselves.

Nonetheless, next time I'll go the extra mile and check sources before I make a sword beatin post like this. You have a good day. ^_^

I knew it was fake the moment i saw it, i don't know i just have the "nose" for it :P. But i truly always wondered if they fart during prayers :P
