Cha'saad, a conjoining of the Mando'a words for "Counter" and "Fear". The Cha'saad are an elite unit of special forces that serve on the grey line of military and police as well as security. Their primary duties include but are not limited to preserving the Hegemony, protecting citizens and disbanding terrorist and criminal organizations that operate outside the law.
The methods of the Cha'saad are extreme. Many of the soldiers whom serve double or served as Rangers in the Armed Forces. Any methods and tactics are allowed for these warriors to accomplish their goals. The funding for their operations can be considered extravagant.
Furthermore, their operations take precedence over that of the military. They are able to allocate the resources of local forces and government institutions to take a target down.
