The Dark Lord has been defeated once more. He essence cast back into the firery depths from which it came. With the dark lord gone, all Nazgul are severely weakened, and his forces are now with out a will to do anything.
They are but a rabble of mindless beings now, and easily over come. All that were at the Morannon have dispersed and are now being hunted down and killed.
But the foundations of Evil still stand as long as the one ring still exists. And with the Witch King weakened, can Gandalf over come him?
Black Gate:
*Anglahorn ran over to his father and found him sitting upright but breathing heavily. 4 Arrows pierced his chest and he lay dying on the field of battle.
"Father, the great evil is passing. Only the ring now remains." Anglahorn said.
Exillium nodded and looked into his sons eyes and never thought he would see the day that his younger son would be crowned king.
"Son, take my sword and finish off the darkness that has enshrouded us." Those were Exillium's last words. His son wept but he had a job to do.
He grabbed his father's sword, Anduril and mounted his horse. He gathered what remained of the Knights of Gondor and rode south to the Crossroads hoping to see that the ring was finally destroyed.
Elrond lay the banner of Gondor over the dead king of Gondor. He then led the forces that could walk into the lands of Mordor and destroyed the remaining Orc fortresses and settlements in side Mordor. They then exited Mordor once more and attended the wounded.
Many thousands lay dead and many thousands lay wounded. All races fought and died here this day, and they shall not be forgotten.*
