Description

On the South side of the Crossings of Poros. 500 Ithilien rangers lay in wait for the Harad army. Mordor were calling its vassals to war against the lands and kingdoms of men and elves. The eye of Sauron spent man days overlooking the Kingdom of Gondor. The Steward of Gondor knows this, and even though the Steward believes there can be no victory over the dark armies of Mordor, he dispatches his generals to prepare for war. Faramir, young but wise had already taken his Ithillien rangers South, from where he knew the Men of Harad would come and bring their terrible beasts of war.

As the vanguard of the Harad army approached, the Rangers were unsettled. They were far more numerous than expected at first, and thus the main army would be much larger. Faramir did not waver and reminded his men, that the mission was to harass the army and in the case, wipe out the Vanguard.

The Harad Vanguard approached 1500 Men and a Mumakil. The Rangers had not yet been dicovered. They all took aim, those closest to the beast aimed for the eyes, and from the dark corners of the woods, the whispers of the arrows were followed by screams and the sound of the Mumakil going into a panic.

OOC: You asked for it Ori! xD
