Original GGJ 48-hour version of the game, developed in parallel to the Windows one for gameplay testing. It runs on 64-bit Ubuntu, and there 32-bit native libraries are included, so it should run for Linux 32-bit also.
Other, improved versions of the game should emerge some time of the coming weeks. If it runs (fingers crossed), please give feedback ;)

"DJ Quetzal" ("Quetzalcoatl") v1.0
Global Game Jam 2012
Java, Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL), Slick
Linux version
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALLATION: The game WILL NOT RUN unless it knows where to find the native
libraries. You have two choices:
1. Move the contents of native/ to /usr/lib and run using:
java -jar dj_quetzal.jar
2. Keep the current file hierarchy and run the game using:
java -Djava.library.path=./native/ -jar dj_quetzal.jar

GAMEPLAY: The aim of the game is to protect your planet from the falling
marbles as long as possible. This is done by catching the marbles with the
appropriate snake. If the wrong snake is use it will stil stop the marble, but
will be stunned for a short duration. White marbles heal the planet, so should
not be blocked!
As a rough guide:
300 = C'mon!
600 = Fair
900 = Great
1200 = Awesome
1600 = Me ;) (see Youtube)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CONTROLS: The three snakes are activated by holding down D,F or G respectively,
and moved by using either UP/DOWN or LEFT/RIGHT. Many people find this
confusing (it's based off the DJ Hero control system) so we may change it for
the next version. Remember: if D,F or G aren't been held down, the directional
buttons will do nothing and vice-versa ;)
I'm having some problems on Linux capturing multiple inputs at once, so you may
not be able to move all three snakes at the same time. I'm working on it...
