Unity Station is the main HQ for the Galactic Council. It is literally a City in Space, heavily foritified and holding a Civilian Population of nearly 600,000 men, women and children.
There are 6 Platforms which extend out from the center of the Space Station. Three of those Platforms are smal Cities, which are owned by the NGR, GAR and Mandalorians and hold 100,000 Civilians from each faction. The three other Platforms are Defense Platforms. Although each of the minor Cities have their own small defenses, including a large Shield Generator, the Defense Platforms are better eqquiped with Hangers, Turbo Laser/Ion/Missle Batteries, many Point Laser Defense Systems and Shield Generators. Most of the weapons are long ranged, allowing the Station to have a 360 degree fire radius.
The Center of the Station, reffered to as "Unity City", is the main hub of all activity on the Space Station. It holds 300,000 Civilians from each Faction, living and trading with each other. The most important aspect of the entire Station is located in Unity City: The Council Tower, holding the Council Chambers at the top of it. The Tower itself consists of one, huge elevator transporting people from Unity City to the Council Chambers (if they have authorisation). It is also fitted with it's own, seperate Shield Generator and Defenses, mostly Point Laser Defense Systems. The Council Chamber itself is one large Orb of very thick Glass, allowing the Council to oversee Unity Station when inside. The Chambers are eqquiped with heavy shielding, and can also project a massive shield around Unity City itself in case it is ever attacked.
Unity Station has it's own Defense Fleet, composed of forces from the NGR, GAR and Mandalorian Empire. The current Commander of the Defense Fleet is Admiral Yule Gharn.
