Fallout: Lone Star is a great Fallout play by post role playing games which I would recommend you all join. It primarily takes place in Texas and below is the games description.

'In 2077, the Great War erupted, causing a deadly nuclear exchange between the US, China, and the USSR. The exchange literally destoryed the world, bringing in the nuclear apocalypse. The geopolitical situation that led to the outbreak of the long-feared global nuclear war was prompted primarily by the onset of a worldwide energy crisis when the supplies of fossil-fuels, particularly petroleum, finally began to run out by the year 2050. This energy crisis was in part the result of the ever-increasing amounts of fossil-fuel required to power the Fallout world's larger and less energy-efficient technologies when compared with those of our own world, due to their failure to develop miniaturized electronics and more advanced manufacturing materials. Fallout: Lone Star takes place in the heart lands of Southern Texas and across the Rio Grande to the sands of Mexico. It is believed a GECK is south of the border and there is a race to find it. Battle the mutants, raiders, and banditos of the south and try to find the GECK to restore life to as it one was.'
