Devil May Cry è un videogioco per PlayStation 2 nel 2001, prodotto da Capcom. Si tratta di un gioco d'azione con forti elementi di esplorazione. Il giocatore deve affrontare una serie di livelli di design gotico, accompagnato da una colonna sonora che sottolinea la costante continuato combattimenti heavy metal. Il personaggio principale, Dante (famoso per i suoi capelli bianchi e vestito rosso), è un mezzo demone ed è il protagonista dei primi tre episodi e co-protagonista del quarto capitolo.

The game is mainly characterized by fast-moving acrobatic combat . Dante has two semi-automatic pistols (Ebony and Ivory) and a great sword ( the Force Edge and Alastor ) . You can find while playing other weapons , firearms such as shotguns or grenade launcher or as demonic swords . Dante is also able to temporarily transform into a demon ( Devil Trigger) becoming stronger and faster and releasing a series of special moves demonic . Throughout the levels can be found several spheres which , if collected , can be exchanged with new abilities and powers.
