I have no idea why this is happening, when I try to download a mod for Half-Life 2 the install chack always fails. I have all Half Life 2 and both episodes installed with Steam so that is not the issue. I went into the custom install and tried to set a directory so it could find the game. It asked for my Steam username but gave me dropdown selection of three files located in my SteamApps file. The options were "downloading", "sourcemods", and "temp". I have tried all three and they have all failed. The actual Half Life 2 game itself is in the folder named "common" which for some reason does not appear on this list. Please help!!! |

Make sure you have the SDK file as well. |

why can't i download any of desura games it ask for steam account i have a steam account so what can i do ???? kevin stout ( seabo12 ) where will i find that at where and what are these files sdk WHERE IS THE SDK AND HOW DO I GET IT |

I have steam on an external HD as well as desura, and it sometimes cannot find HL2 when i try to launch a mod (ps. i always have it connected to the same port, so its not that...). and now Project black mesa doesnt want to install, saying something about not being able to find HL2 even though i can launch other mods..... |
