I've never liked this video much. While it presents some valid points, it's pretty one-sided blatant propaganda. Still lots of fun to watch though!

They only mention one side of the issue. Awful presidents are portrayed as heroes (Andrew Jackson), good presidents are portrayed as villains (Woodrow Wilson), anybody associated with wanting bigger government or a federal bank is immediately branded as an agent of the Rotschild family.

The federal bank is MASSIVELY vilified- for instance, they said that when the federal bank was destroyed, the country underwent massive growth during the late 19th century. This is true, but they choose to ignore that in that time, the corporations essentially replaced the government and raped the nation and its people. Without a federal reserve, the government got so poor it had to directly borrow money from the corporations, taking out enormous loans from J.P. Morgan.

It's fun to watch, but it really ignores the other side of the debate.

Hmm.

Yes Andrew Jackson did support slavery and removal of Indians, however he also advanced popular democracy and individual liberties. Also these were his reasoning against the central bank, which I think do hold true to this day.

-It concentrated the nation's financial strength in a single institution,
-It exposed the government to control by foreign interests,
-It served mainly to make the rich richer,
-It exercised too much control over members of Congress,
-It favored northeastern states over southern and western states,
-Banks are controlled by a few select families.

As of Woodrow Wilson, sure he was an advocate of womens suffrage, and helped to restore the economy, through selling his country to the private bankers and providing inspiration for US participation in world affairs, aka. wanton aggression. He was also deeply racist.

Private bankers control all the money pressing of US through the federal reserve, as said in the video, though how much that matters I don't know. Only 1-5% of money in existence is fiat money anyway, while the rest are loans made by banks. And since the big corporation owners like JP Morgan and Rockefeller have moved to the banking area, what does it much matter if US is no longer owning to the corporations?

Andrew Jackson had very little true regard for democracy- he completely disregarded the checks and balances system. When the Supreme Court didn't do what he wanted, he essentially said "**** the Supreme Court, I'll do whatever I want".

I understand those points, however when the bank was made nonexistant, the conditions listed often grew worse. Without a central bank, the government was constantly weak and corporations reigned supreme.

As for W.W., he definitely was racist, however for presidents in that era, he was a liberal visionary (like with the 14 points and League of Nations). He was also an anti-imperialist, so I'd say he scaled down aggression.

My point with the banks is that in the times when the U.S. didn't have a federal reserve, it was far more susceptible to weakness, bankruptcy, and manipulation than without. And indeed they control the printing of money in America- however, the government has the ability to shut that down if needs be.

Bit libertarian for my taste but relatively I wouldn't disagree, much.

The video creators understand that how the monetary system works can be very confusing to some and have done a brilliant job in explaining how the whole system is set up to keep you forever in debt. This is not what the original founding fathers of America had in mind.

Also, this is not just an American problem. It's the same scam in nearly all countries around the world
