wow, wow, WOW!!!
each time i see new stuff of Cryengine3 it gives me the shivers, lol.
sometimes it s even spooky!!!
take for instance that face that you see in the beginning of the movie, the facial hare on this face, its so natural that you nearly touche it.
and what to think of all the options that you have.
By the way, are those images of those wooden buildings at the see taken from the Alan Wake pc version? because those images i have seen somewhere before a few weeks ago or so, and i have read that Alan Wake pc was made with this new engine!

Those wooden buildings where made by Ronny Muehle ( Platinumgold.de ) from Crytek and are available as preview assests in the Free SDK.
Alan Wake was made with the MAX-FX 3.0 engine (Max stands for Max Payne engine). But yes those building are certainly influenced by Alan Wake by the looks of it.
A yes, the Max Payne engine, i already wondered why they made the switch. but, they didn't. tried that max editor for a day or 2, good to hear they kept using it, although the Cryengine 3 would do the trick also easily.
