This reminds me how Phase II armor (helmet actually) looks 100 times more bad-*** in the micro-series than in RoTS.

the phase 2 helmets in the miniseries look just like they do in ROTS. Fordo's phase 1 helmet is the same as Commander Nyo's helmet only Fordo has his designs and Jaig eyes

No, not really.
Micro-series variants are distinctively different (and more bad-***).

Take a better look at these pretty accurate figures:
RoTS clone: Jedi-business.com
Micro-series clone: Jedi-business.com

RoTS Neyo-like helmet: Images1.wikia.nocookie.net
Micro-series Neyo-like helmet: picture posted above

however distorted they are, thats what theyre supposed to represent. Fordo's Phase 2 helmet is supposed to be the same varient as Commander Nyo's

I know, I just said phase II (both ordinary and Neyo's) looks cooler in the micro-series than in the movies, thats all.

Glad to see that Hasbro knows that it can profit off of past Action Figure Line-ups
