Remember when you used to be that noob player and thought that high level weapon was the best? For me it was the Javelin, but when I got to play it and the tanks seemed to be close range I kinda went back to the SMAW.
The Javelin is only worthwhile if you're in communication with your squad and you have a laser spotter. The Stinger/IGLA's effectiveness is completely conditional. The SMAW/RPG still does the most damage and is the quickest to use, and a good player can use it effectively as an AA launcher as well. Also, the SMARPG can bring rubble down on people. >:)
-you´re close to the back of an enemy tank and you have a Claymore
-your vehicle is disabled and you have Mines.
-you want to do some sniping but you have a PDW.

That caused quite a few awkward moments for me.
