Originally applied to any group of infantry primarily armed with projectile weapons, artillery has over time become limited in meaning to refer only to those engines of war that operate by projection of munitions far beyond the range of effect of personal weapons. These engines comprise specialised devices which use some form of stored energy to operate, whether mechanical, chemical, or electromagnetic. Originally designed to breach fortifications, they have evolved from nearly static installations intended to reduce a single obstacle to highly mobile weapons of great flexibility in which now reposes the greater portion of a modern army's offensive capabilities.
Serbian self-propelled arty with 155mm field gun
B-52...Reminds me of something else! :D
the Serbs propably gave it that name because of that xD espacially since B-52s have dropped a hell alot of bombs over the Serbian countryside...
Not really, B-52H's were mostly using cruise missiles to neutralize our AA defenses, and Air fields :P
the americans are pretty famous for useing overkill firepower against "dug in enemies". Have anyone of you seen the AC-130 fotage? Instead of fitting it with loud speakers and yelling "SURENDER, We have a big ******* gunship up here and there's nothing you can do, drop your weapons and gather at the market place, or you will be shot!" They just sits by their monitors and is like, "Mike, there's a boggie over there" *BOOM-BOOM-BOOM* "Target destroyed".
and I seen some fotage of B-52s on discovery where they carpet bombed a forest, where there supousedly was serbian infantry. I bet a couple of F-15s with cluster bombs would be just as leathal...
Cluster bombing is war crime, but don't worry, that was used too :P
yeah, I know, Sweden are the leading country in the developement of cluster bombs. We have one customer, gues who!
Who?
America ofcourse xD
Oh, silly me :P I hope Sweden will in a few years have a new customer...but for the Gripens, guess who :D
I would gues australia (they have our submarines) but since you're asking I say Serbia ;p
Yeah. We need AF modernization, nothing was made/bought since 90's and JAS-39 is one of possible orders :P
but wouldn't you buy Russian airplanes? Or are the ones for sale outdated?
Well, you can see the list of possible orders here:

And I don't know, mu country is in tons of **** because its leaders, the real a*sholes, money stealers, that wan't EU and NATO(even after the bombing) integration. I should not start about it, its the endless story...
huh, Balkan boy, heartbreakingly understand you. Ukraine and Russia are at the moment in deepshit because of the same reasons.
