It would have been much nicer if you take pictures of anime and manga series to your news and writes about them there, than to put out links that can be destroyed later.
It has happened to me before too, so this is just a tip.
I thought moddb images were never deleted. I used that to upload a picture of the anime/manga, some personal commentaries and opinion and a summary of the plot.
If you use links to images that do not belong to you, then it may be a problem. If you have a link to a picture that one other person has uploaded so that person can delete the image and then your link will be broken.
But as long as you link it to your own pictures then they will not be broken. So long as you do not delete them yourself or manager of the website, for some other basis.
