This group is for people who notice canononical contradictions within popular sci-fi and fantasy franchises and wish to discuss them in a safe, TROLL FREE, environment.
perhaps now you will see the contradictions for yourself.i hope i opened your eyes. this is what we're about.
I could pick this video apart. All of these are NOT contradictions UNTIL a time frame is set. Death Watch definately is not because the images are 12 YEARS apart.
They have not shown poggle in prison during the battle of Coruscant or later. Even if they don't show how he escapes on the show it can still be explained in other sources.
what about Eeth koth, the star fighter, ahsoka, and Greedo?
O YA! Forgot to point out that Sora bulq is also in that gunship and he lives and becomes a Dark Acolyte. He is later killed by Quinlan Vos. That appears in multiple sources.
SO if Sora Bulq can live through it why can't Eeth Koth!? Hmmmmm
Greedo can speak multiple languages and I know they originally planned to use sub titles but it was problematic for the studio.
UI have already agreed with the Ahsoka thing so No comment
bull friggin' sh*t show me where it says he knows more than one language
Eeth Koth actually died in Ep 3... he got killed by Palpatine you remember?
To the other things... man you can really see a canonical contradiction in almost everything can´t you? It´s just that firstly, The Clone Wars was created for a younger group of viewers, and thats nothing you can complain about, secondly to create a Star Wars series, you have often to imagine new things for each episode or use old things in other ways. thats what you call canonical contradictions.... its normal!
i think that agen kolar your thinking of
For Greedo, the show makes him speak english for "younger" fans to understand what is happening in the episode.
the alien dude who shot the blue chick was spaeking another launguge. *face
its not in this video but go on youtube and watch the episode again
I only have 1 issue with the video and 1 thing it missed; Poggle dies in Ep3...after the clone wars....
But he is a hobbit sized in CW, but the movies have him being taller.
In the serie he's like a hobbit..
i did not sequence them in any particular order
The show is HIMSELF an abomination contradiction
i dont mean to correct your english niner but you mean "its self" just for future reference.
and i dont know any French so lets call it even lol
Ah yes thank's i didn't see it ^^ i know it was "itself" but i forgot, i translated directly french to english this time lol
In french they would say "il est" for he is or it is. Correct?
yes
you really tink that 2 years of war the separatist are going to let one that knowes all of their secrets rot in prison?
why is grevious such a pussy? i didn't really liked the microseries, but seeing grevious striking a jedi (or two) down in under a minute, was soo satisfing ^^
you know if you read on wookiepedia it says
His natural abilities were his ticket into the Jedi Order, and Koth would go on to become a leading member of the Jedi Council. Koth participated in the Battle of Geonosis, the opening battle of the Clone Wars, as part of the Geonosis strike team consisting of 212 Jedi. Koth narrowly survived a LAAT gunship crash which took the life of Tarados Gon, and was initially believed to be dead following the battle. After returning to his duties, Koth would go on to lead his men in the Battle of Korriban. A chance encounter with the General of the Separatist Droid Army, Grievous, led to his capture in the Outer Rim. However, using sign language hidden in a holotransmission sent to the Jedi Council by Grievous, Koth led the Republic Navy to his location over Saleucami, where Anakin Skywalker and Adi Gallia freed Koth from his imprisonment.
You guys forgot one HUGE issue. Mandos are NOT peaceful, you leave them alone, they do the same to you, you **** with them, and you get ****** with. Pardon my language but it seemed necessary.
P.S. I hate the ads on the videos on ModDB.
didn't eeth koth die when mace and him tried to arrest palpatine
