The 501st Legion, also known as the 501st Battalion during the Clone Wars and later known as "Vader's Fist" and the Five Hundred and First, was an elite unit of clone troopers commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars that later became a stormtrooper unit. Made up of units like Torrent Company, the 501st fought in many battles, such as the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Coruscant, becoming one of the most well-known legions. In 19 BBY, the 501st became Darth Vader's personal unit as he led them during Operation: Knightfall, in which the clones helped take down the Jedi, whom they believed to be traitors to the Republic.

why would i do that, i can die after i play two matches one clone wars and one galactic civil war, on any map. though ima be honest i like the ea battlefront too, so its a double win two battlefronts.
I can confirm that it is a hoax. It's an elaborate plan to attract attention for their other games they will be working on. Anyway, it's no longer a Star Wars game.

So we get a new sci-fi universe from this game, and possibly someone will create a star wars mod for this, which given the fanbase around it already is very likely. You know the modding community is gonna do it anyways regardless what EA says. So its a win-win.
Halogen received C&D because of Halo Wars. I expect the same thing will happen again.
