The 501st Legion, also known as the 501st Battalion during the Clone Wars and later known as "Vader's Fist" and the Five Hundred and First, was an elite unit of clone troopers commissioned by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars that later became a stormtrooper unit. Made up of units like Torrent Company, the 501st fought in many battles, such as the Battle of Teth and the Battle of Coruscant, becoming one of the most well-known legions. In 19 BBY, the 501st became Darth Vader's personal unit as he led them during Operation: Knightfall, in which the clones helped take down the Jedi, whom they believed to be traitors to the Republic.

A 501ST CLONE SQUAD MOVES IN TO AN UNKNOWN FOREST SITUATED AROUND THE PLANET
It was a harsh rain in the forests of Muunilinst, a 501st Clone Trooper squad led by CC-2242, nicknamed "Jager" cautiously moves in to a river situated in a forest situated somewhere along the planet. The squad reached the river, only to be ambushed by CIS Droids. CT-4117 and CT-4455 were shot to death by oncoming blaster fire from the Droids.
CT-2335: Sir, we can't take them all ourselves! We need a blasted backup!
"Jager": True Clones fight like real vod, stick your arse behind me Copper, we'll get through this.
"Jager" then ordered his troops to fire their blasters to the CIS Droids, they were taken down around less than five minutes. The squad then continued to their objective to assault the CIS Heavy Platform Artillery that has been raining death to many Clones who had fought hard for this war.
The squad moves in and found out that they were close to their destination - they were out of the jungle already. On a cliff, the view of an exotic Muunilinst forest is visible, accompanied by a large CIS Artillery which is the squad's objective to assault and destroy it.
"Jager" ordered two of his men to set up a sniping spot on the cliff to provide cover fire, while he and the other members of the squad continued along the objective. The sniper and his spotter make salutes to the squad who continued to their objective.
The squad managed to reach close to the CIS Heavy Platform Artillery. "Jager" moves in sneakily and ordered his squad to do the same, then he twisted a guarding CIS Droid's head. Another two members of the squad did the same to two other Droids just beside him. The sniping team continued to look for targets that might possibly harm the mission.
Five B2 Super Battle Droids, accompanied by around twenty B1 Battle Droids are guarding the entrance to the artillery. "Jager" then warned the sniping team...
