"Z Warrior Chronicles" is an independent project being worked on by Xatoku based off of the popular Dragonball Z franchise by Akira Toriyama. This project has been going since early April 2011, and has gone through many revisions along the way, but the story elements are now being worked on and progress is booming. The aim of this project is to emulate the Dragonball Z world in an Action/RPG type scenario, and tell the story of the Z Fighters as best it can. The gameplay is best described as a combination of Legacy of Goku 2 & Dragonball Z Sagas on the GBA & PS2 respectively, along with a ton of Anime inspired gameplay elements as well. Production is naturally at a slow but steady pace due to the development team being only me, but I've invested all of my free time into this project and have no intention on stopping any time soon.
Little tweak to Raditz' landing. Any suggestions are appreciated ^_^.
You could work on tree's a bit,and that minimap should be better, like you put it in a box or circle.Btw is there Raditz spaceship inside the hole?
You used good textures but I think the proportions of world compared to player arent correct, goku isnt a giant :)
Good call on the map, and yeah the space pod is in there. Goku's also actually fairly small compared to the world, that's just the field of view messing with the perspective.
goku is a midget in this game sir XD
sorry to say false statement :)
xotoku explained and also I only played as piccolo, didnt had much time to get to stage where goku is :P
man the engine your using is super super powerfull, you should place many many more trees instead of increasing thier size
your maps have so much advtange then any other dbz game out there try and be a little more consentrated on little details not making the little details bigger to cover up bigger sections of the map to reduce map making time just a suggestion :)
otherwise the actual textures themselves are looking allot better, maybe try make the clouds more like the anime or zeq2 lite should be easy to do :D
p.s your aura is amazing :D is it the picture of the aura from mugen games turned into a repeating fading particle?
Not exactly. It's a way smaller version of that aura with the actual image being tailored to make the outline effect. Thanks for all the suggestions as well, they cleared up a few things I've been wondering about.
