At long last! After five months of development, Warriors of Belirium is now ready for an alpha release! You can get it at itch.io over here: Daggio.itch.io and please support me in continue living my dream as an indie developer :D
Okay, I'm bad at writing a press release thing or something like that, so I'm confused at what to add here. But here's what you can expect from the alpha:
- Grammar error: As someone whose first language isn't English, even writing this is difficult for me. I'm sure there are grammatical errors here and there that I didn't realize, and you will encounter them in the game as well. Please don't mind it if you find them.
- Bugs: As I have told you, this is an alpha release. Expect bugs everywhere. I have tested the game thoroughly and I can say that you can play the game from start to finish, taking about 30 minutes until you finish the game. Even so, bugs will still come out, be prepared.
- Side quests: Aside from the main quest that's of course available in this version, there are also two side quests you can take. Later on, I will add more side quests and randomized those quests so you may get a different quest list everytime you wanna take a side quest. I'm thinking of giving players a quest reward everytime you finish a side quest, but right now that feature is not there yet.
Okay, that's what you can expect, now let me list features that still not complete:
- Items still only usable from in game menu, you can't use them from battle screen to heal your characters in battle.
- Items don't decrease, they don't disappear from the inventory as well. You can use each item as many times as you want, abuse this before I fix it
- Shop menu isn't working. You still can't buy or sell items.
- No experience points after battles, this also means you don't level up.
That's pretty much it, maybe there are more bugs because I didn't know it or maybe I forgot to list it here.
