Vectagon is a procedurally generated arcade survival racer inspired by the likes of F-Zero, Rez and Dyad; which plays like a 3D Super Hexagon. The player hurtles down an eternally-spiralling tube and must switch between its sides at high speed to dodge red gates which end the game. The game’s extreme difficulty and unforgiving nature requires the player to focus the entirety of their attention into play, which we hope will bring them into a state of trance yielding more successful plays. This core was brought over into the aesthetic, which is a cross-product of the game’s obsession with geometry and the desire to recreate a rave-like feel. We plan to release a public beta at the end of the month for PC and Mac, with plans to bring Vectagon to mobile in the future.
