Untitled Unity3d FPS is an FPS being developed by a one man team and is in the earliest development stage imaginable. The game when it comes out will be mainly based around the idea of an apocalyptic war. It's inspired by games like Fallout, Metro 2033, and Red Alliance. I aim to have an update video out at least once a week, if not more. Right now, I am working on weapons. The graphics are place holders, but I am working to have the over-all feel of the weapons made first. The game is going to have campaign and multiplayer. Multiplayer will come second, but will also be a main focus. Please, if you have an suggestions, ideas, criticism, etc... let me know.

Update 4 is big update with map changes. The terrain is now concrete and the spawn building is in the middle of identical business buildings. The new goal of the game is sort of like Brink, or Half Life. You play as a character in the resistance.

In this update, the map has been changed, and a new weapon has been added. The Acog 4x scope is also shown. More enemies have been added as well. If you see the newest screen shots, you can see how beautiful the game is when running at the highest graphical setting. (The video is at the average setting). The game runs at 30 fps on "Fantastic" on my computer. It runs at 90-120 on "Good".

How do you make that scope?

In Unity PRO, go to Assets-Create-RenderTexture and Create a new camera. Position the camera at the same exact position as the fps camera, but change the fov down to like 10. After that, change the target texture of the camera to the Render Texture you created. Now, place the Render Texture on a blank plane and it will create a new material. That should be it. Keep in mind that you need Unity Pro and not Indie. If this doesn't work, you can check a tutorial on Youtube. Thanks!
