The game revolves around a four-way war between four factions, each supported by smaller factions. However the game itself is not about the war - it's about the world. We're trying very hard to create the world in such a way that it feels alive and changing around you. Unlike most RPG games, you're not responsible for the fate of the world, instead you're a single man part of a larger plan, involved in the story and helping to shape it, but not holding the fate in his hands.
We're drawing from many games for inspiration - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for environment and atmosphere, Call of Duty: Black Ops and FarCry 2 for combat, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 for the cover system (although we're aiming to make it first person), Fallout 3 for immersion, and a story that sways towards Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The main quest will be more of an side-quest, with hundreds of other mini-quests and side-quests, as well as many unmarked quests, and a vast frozen tundra to explore.
The game will adapt to you, as well as force you to adapt to it, allowing for any tactics you want - Stealth, head-on, distance, up close and personal, etcetera. We're trying to develop a challenging, yet simple, stealth system, as well as creating an all new hand-to-hand and melee combat system.

Well after I found out that KickStarter.com is only available in the United States, I was extremely disappointed that we couldn't receive funding for the game! However, very luckily for us, after I posted a rather angry blog post on my profile, an amazing ModDB member named ifss directed me to a site called IndieGoGo.com. I have since created a page successfully for the game and we will now start receiving funding from generous players! If any of you are excited enough for the game to donate, I implore you to donate on Indiegogo.com! Without funding the project will die, so we need YOUR HELP!
Thanks for reading and I hope you're as excited as I am for this.

hmmhmmm i shall spread the word
Thanks, Ghost! That'd really help!
We could really use your funding!
I'm sorry but the amount of money you're asking to fund a proof of concept is ludicrous! 1000$ a week for your "dedicated team"? Licensing the dev kits for consoles? These are hardly requirements. Copyrighting the name and setting up a business? Why do you have to worry about copyrights?

1. This is a job for my team, so if each of them receives $100 a week they are severely underpaid, but it's the best I could do under the circumstances.
2. Not only dev kits, but Bink Video ($8500), Telemetry ($6000), and the Miles Sound System ($6000) as well.
3. If we don't set up a business and copyright our titles, music, and concepts, someone might "like" the idea and steal the cocept. If they finish it before us then there's no proof that it belongs to us.
We did our homework and $30,000 is the minimum we need. Please don't insult our motives any further. If you don't want to donate, okay, don't, but don't try to harm our project by trying to point out things that aren't there.
Please help fund us!

Sorry about the delay in updates! Our concept artist, sound effect artist and 3D Modeler walked out on us. We're currently looking around for replacements.
Cant wait for this to be released!
