The first of the problems is that I was relying on more feedback then, "this game is so bad it's good" so that I could work out some of the major bugs in the game. The next major problem is the art assets in the game, as I have been unable to represent the characters with any sense of justice. This is a problem on my end, sine my artistic skills are sub par. To add to that is my inability to make music or code, and that means that the atmosphere can be ruined by inappropriate music with an enemy running into walls.
However, the main reason that Tricon is being shelved for now is that the files for the game were corrupted not once, not twice, but THREE times over the past month, often resulting in me having to reopen the original demo file and start from there. The third time this happened, I lost both the file I was working on and the demo file AND many of the outside assets I had managed to make. Because I have to start over again from scratch, I know that I would not be able to get the game done by the 15th. I do not have an estimated date for when the game will be completed, or even if it ever will be. I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
