This true successor to Diablo I & II not just by the fact that the game stays true to hardcore arpg gamer needs, but also because Runic are the original devs of the original Diablo series. Buy this game and support an awesome game developer.

Best ARPG since a long, long time! You can't go wrong with Torchlight 2! For only 20$, you can't find anything that offer that much! A must have for every addicts and newcomers to the genre!

Been playing this since beta. This is what Diablo 3 should have been. This is the best APRG I've played in awhile.

This is a truly wonderful game, and not just due to its gameplay. Torchlight 2 offers offline play - both LAN and single player, the ability to use single player - or offline - characters in online co-op, and, most important of all, modding. The game's editor was supposed to be released soon after the game (or so I was lead to believe), but it never happened. Fear not! For this, minor, obstacle hasn't stopped modders.

Personally, I never really took a liking to any of the classes originally provided. Luckily there are additional class mods provided by the mod community. One in particular adds several classes I enjoy more than the originals. If you have been hesitant of purchasing, or of playing Torchlight 2 due to the stock classes, you may find new interest - or incentive - in one, or more various mods.

Those who are fans of Diablo 2 may find the Synergies Mod to be to their liking. This mod, alone, was reason enough (for me) to change my initial score of eight to a full ten.
