This week on Kickstarter, I ran a series of updates detailing each of the game's ten first-tier floors. These floors are divided up into mutually exclusive pairs, where buying one floor will prevent you from buying its match, prompting players to make early choices about the build paths they'll be taking each game. Each update takes a closer look at the titular characters, but you'll find brief descriptions of each floor below!
The Grotesque Grotto is a build path for goblins, orcs, trolls, ogres, and other brutal humanoids. Expect greedy rogues and commanding beastmasters!
The alternative Warped Warrens offers kobolds, hunters, shamen, draconic acolytes, wyverns, and possibly even dragons!
The Crumbling Catacombs are home to zombies, giving way to hordes of undead minions: skeletons, ghouls, wraiths, vampires, liches, and more!
Or you might choose the Seedy Cellar. Giant rats may not be as powerful as zombies, but this floor opens the way to all manner of slimes, vermin, and other shambling masses of pestilence!
Building the Wicked Workshop will net you gremlins and all of the wild constructs and machinations they can invent!
The Portentous Portal, on the other hand, will take you from mischievous imps to diabolical demons!
The Dark Dwelling houses dark elves, but it also exposes all of the deep, nameless evils that dark elves love so much!
The Sinful Study, however, grants access to a vast library of arcane units: heretics, demoniacs, necromancers, and more!
The Cutthroat camp is home to brigands, blackguards, assassins, and other physically skilled combatants!
But the Lupine Lair offers a beastly build path, featuring wolves, wargs, bears, and even larger behemoths!
All of these floors will blend with each other in unique ways; the five you select will set the tone and strategy for your session, allowing you to develop and improve your builds and tactics as you discover new content!
