A modern day macabre masterpiece. I don't throw the word masterpiece around lightly, but I feel it fits perfectly for this game. It's refreshing to see a truly mature and intelligent game. The game frequently delves into some sick and disturbing situations, and yet can still pull off a heartfelt sweetness at times.

The story is an incredible gothic revenge and redemption story that had me completely engrossed. The graphics are good for what they're trying to accomplish, very stylized. Animations can sometimes be a bit jarring but you get used to it quickly.

As far as audio goes, the music and voice acting are superb. If you enjoy a good twisted dark fantasy just play it, no review can give it justice.
Not recommended for the squeamish or those easily unsettled by dark and depraved violent scenes.
