IN LOVE, IN LOVE, IN LOVE. In short, it's amazing. Easy controls, an engaging story, nonlinear gameplay, and a great soundtrack, including voice acting. It's something different that every gamer should experiment. If you want to try it out before buying, watch gameplay on YouTube. The demo doesn't represent the game well, even some of the voice acting is different. Use the demo to make sure you can run the game. That's it.

In detail..
Words cannot do this game justice. I adore it so much that its few minor flaws become charming to me more than anything. Even after watching two Let's Plays, I was still compelled to purchase it for myself. The story is just beautiful. The main characters are thoroughly developed, they feel like people, not characters in a game. Guaranteed, you will become attached to them. The story is morbid and tragic, but there is a good dose of humor in it as well, and it fits in perfectly. Despite the heavy story, the humor never seems inappropriate. Words cannot cover how much I adore this game. The voice acting is brilliant as well, the cast did a great job.

Don't be intimidated by the "horror adventure" tag. The story overrides the horror. There are a few "jump scares" but it's not like a face jumping out at you, and honestly it's usually easy to tell when something is about to happen. The horror is more in the atmosphere and the details than in actual scares. Despite the overt supernatural horror elements, the story itself is grounded and believable. It doesn't feel like a fantasy game, it feels like it's happening in our world. It's amazing how the developer pulled it off.

You can cover the controls with one hand, and it isn't graphically demanding so even low-performance computers should be able to run it. It's very violent, but not gory. The simple graphics don't allow for gory details, which is appreciated by people like me with weak stomachs. There's lots of cursing too.
