I can't say enough about the story line of this game. I have never played a game quite like this one. I almost wanted to give it a 9/10 for minor glitches or inconveniences, but the sheer quality of the story, the characters, and the dialogue more than make up for it.

It's an incredibly dark game, and thankfully not overrun by jump scares like many horror games are. The main character is utterly believable, and her struggles draw you in effortlessly. She is so easy to sympathize with. You want her to win so badly.

The dialogue is human, and surprisingly funny at points. I can't appreciate a well-written dialogue enough these days. It doesn't feel forced, and the humor is genuinely funny.

I thought my main hangup would be the graphics. I love good graphics in a game, and while these are not what I would call fancy, they mesh well with the overall style. They go from beautifully surreal to starkly realistic with flawless transition. The music is skillfully woven into these bleak settings to create an environment that you can almost feel on your skin.

I would absolutely pay for expansions to this game. I just can't get enough of Susan's world.

If you are looking for a story-driven horror game, buy this one. It is easily worth double what they are asking.
